Devon Travis in Blue Jays lineup as X-rays come back negative

Aledmys Diaz and Teoscar Hernandez drove in five RBI as the Toronto Blue Jays came from behind to beat the Cleveland Indians 8-4.

Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis is in the lineup Saturday after X-rays on his right hand were negative, according to Sportsnet’s Arash Madani.

Travis was hit by a pitch from Cleveland Indians right-hander Matt Belisle during Friday night’s 8-4 win.

The pitch was an 89.4-m.p.h. fastball in the top of the ninth and Travis remained in the game before coming around to score in the victory. Gift Ngoepe replaced Travis in the bottom of the ninth.

The 27-year-old has struggled to start the year, with just three hits to show for his 38 at-bats.
