Brett Lawrie seems to have a lot of time on his hands of late.
His latest Instagram post tells us as much:
The Langley, B.C., native was released by the Chicago White Sox on March 3. Lawrie hit .248 with 12 home runs and 36 runs batted in last season for Chicago. He’s also previously played for the Toronto Blue Jays and Oakland Athletics.
Lawrie was a part of the trade that saw the Blue Jays acquire third baseman Josh Donaldson from Oakland.
