CLEVELAND — Pitcher Zach McAllister and the Cleveland Indians have agreed to a $1.3 million, one-year contract, more than double his salary of $520,400 last year.

The 28-year-old right-hander was 4-4 with a 3.00 ERA in 60 relief appearances and one start last season. Selected by the Yankees in the third round of the 2006 amateur draft, he is 23-29 in parts of five major league seasons, all with the Indians.

Five Indians remain eligible to file for arbitration Tuesday: right-handers Cody Allen, Jeff Manship, Bryan Shaw and Josh Tomlin, and third baseman-outfielder Lonnie Chisenhall.
