TORONTO — The Toronto Blue Jays signed three prospects ahead of next week’s draft signing deadline.
The Blue Jays signed left-handers Justin Nicolino (second round) and Mitchell Taylor (seventh round), as well as second baseman Brandon Mims (ninth round) from June’s First Year Player Draft, the club announced Monday.
The Blue Jays have now signed 27 of the 56 picks selected from the 2010 draft.
The deadline to sign draft picks is 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday, Aug. 16.
