Jays’ Lind on paternity list, Lincoln recalled

TORONTO — The Toronto Blue Jays placed first baseman Adam Lind on the paternity list Thursday and recalled right-hander Brad Lincoln from triple-A Buffalo.

Lind has a .244 batting average in 17 games this season. He has three doubles, two RBIs and a .396 on-base percentage.

Lincoln has a 1-0 record and 4.50 earned-run average in five appearances with Buffalo this season.

He split last season between Pittsburgh and Toronto. Lincoln was 5-2 last year with a 3.68 earned-run average over 52 appearances.
