Blue Jays fans can now see a side of Jose Bautista that they’ve never seen before: his back side.
The Toronto slugger is appearing this week in ESPN The Magazine’s fourth annual “Body Issue,” and if the video released today is any indication, Bautista showed no reluctance baring it all.
Watch the MLB All-Star Game live Tuesday on Sportsnet East, Ontario, West and Pacific. Coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET.
In an interview with ESPN.com last month, Bautista said he wanted readers “to understand that athletes make a lot of sacrifices for their bodies. Our bodies are our biggest work tool, and keeping them in shape by working out and eating correctly and playing the sports we love takes a toll. But if you do everything correctly, you can take care of it and come out with a nice-looking body.”
Also appearing the issue are New York Rangers forward Brad Richards and NFL stars Rob Gronkowski and Maurice Jones-Drew.
