The 26-year-old hit the milestone after getting the Yankees’ Brett Gardner to ground out in the bottom of the third inning Saturday in the Bronx.
Stroman previously said reaching 200 innings pitched was his “No. 1 goal” this season.
He pitched a career-high 204 innings last season, a mark he just came short of in 2017 after going just four innings Saturday and 201 for the season.
Coming into Saturday’s contest, Stroman was sporting a 3.06 ERA with 162 strikeouts and 61 walks.
