Poll: What team is the Blue Jays’ biggest rival?

Play enough games against any team and tensions will inevitably emerge, so it’s no surprise that many of the Toronto Blue Jays’ biggest rivals reside within the AL East.

The Blue Jays have had all kinds of trouble beating the Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees on the road. The Boston Red Sox get a rude reception in Toronto, especially when manager John Farrell sets foot on the field. Adam Jones, Darren O’Day and the Baltimore Orioles have had more than their share of heated exchanges with the Blue Jays of late.

In years past the Detroit Tigers had a great rivalry with the Blue Jays, though the teams play just two series per year now. All of which begs the question…
