Post-Deadline MLB Chat Transcript: Taking stock of Jays’ recent deals

We all expected the Blue Jays to be busy ahead of the trade deadline, but few of us saw this coming.

Ken Giles, Justin Smoak and Freddy Galvis are still in Toronto even after drawing interest from contenders. But Aaron Sanchez, Joe Biagini and outfield prospect Cal Stevenson are gone, traded to Houston for outfielder Derek Fisher. That four-player deal was the highlight of a busy deadline that also saw the Blue Jays send reliever Daniel Hudson to Washington for minor-league right-hander Thomas Hatch.
