Cincinnati Reds star Slugger Joey Votto left Monday’s contest with the San Francisco Giants with lower-back tightness.
Votto leads the Reds with a .413 on-base percentage this season and was 1-for-2 before he left Monday’s game.
It’s not yet known if the 34-year-old five-time all-star first baseman will be forced to miss any upcoming games.
Cincinnati entered Monday’s action last in the NL Central with a 14-27 record.
