The Toronto Blue Jays have reportedly agreed to a one-year, $1.9-million contract with outfielder Ezequiel Carrera.

The deal, first reported by USA Today’s Bob Nightengale, would avoid arbitration for the two parties.

Carrera had a .282/.356/.408 slash line this past season, his third with the Blue Jays.

The 30-year-old had a career-high eight home runs in 131 games.
