Report: Braden Halladay to play for Canadian Junior National Team

A montage of some memorable moments in Roy Halladay's Major League Baseball career.

Braden Halladay, the son of the late Roy Halladay, will be on the Canadian Junior National Team this spring, Bob Elliott of the Canadian Baseball Network reported recently.

Braden Halladay, a pitcher who has verbally committed to Penn State, was born in Toronto. His father passed away tragically in a place crash on November 7, 2017.

The Canadian Junior Team will play an exhibition game against the Blue Jays on March 17. The Blue Jays have announced plans to retire Halladay’s number 32 on opening day 2018.
