The Atlanta Braves have reportedly agreed to acquire Detroit Tigers closer Shane Greene with less than an hour to go before the trade deadline, according to Buster Olney of ESPN.

Greene, 30, has a 1.18 ERA with 22 saves and 43 strikeouts in 38 innings for the Tigers this year. He’s earning a relatively affordable $4 million this year and he’s controllable in arbitration through 2020 making him more than a rental.

The Tigers will reportedly receive 21-year-old starter Joey Wentz as part of the return from the Braves.
