The Milwaukee Brewers are reportedly trading first baseman Jesus Aguilar to the Tampa Bay Rays, according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan.

Right-hander Jacob Faria is going back to Milwaukee in the trade, per Passan.

Aguilar, 29, was an all-star in 2018 — he hit a career-high 35 home runs that season — but his numbers have dipped in 2019.

In 94 games this season, the slugger is hitting .225/.320/.374 with eight homers and 34 RBIs.

Faria, 26, has appeared in seven games with the Rays this season and 23 with triple-A Durham. At triple-A this season he has a 4.07 ERA with 74 strikeouts.
