The Chicago Cubs making history: Priceless.

The baseball used for the final out of Game 7 in the World Series: $3 million?

According to Bloomberg, the ball that was thrown by Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant to first baseman Anthony Rizzo to clinch the Cubs’ first title in more than a century could be worth $3 million, if it’s ever sold.

Rizzo is currently in possession of the baseball. He was seen stuffing the ball into his back pocket right as the on-field celebrations began. However, the first baseman was forced to hand it over to MLB officials so they could authenticate it before he could take it home.

The value was determined based on the Cubs snapping a 108-year drought, plus the number of Chicago fans who would pay top-dollar to own a piece of history.
