The Miami Marlins are finalizing a two-year, $17.5 million deal with outfielder Corey Dickerson, according to multiple industry sources.

MLB Network insider Jon Heyman was first to report the deal, while MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand was first to report the terms.

Dickerson, 30, had a .906 OPS in 78 games last season, split between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies. He has finished six consecutive seasons with an OPS above league average and has three seasons of 20-plus home runs in that span.

He was placed on the 60-day injured list in September and missed the rest of the 2019 season with a fractured left foot.

The 2018 Gold Glove winner has primarily played left field in his seven-year career. After earning $8.5 million last year, Dickerson was projected to earn $15 million over two years by MLB Trade Rumors.
