Report: Nationals, right-hander Anibal Sanchez agree to two-year deal

The Washington Nationals have agreed to a two-year deal worth $19 million with incentives for free agent right-hander Anibal Sanchez, Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press is reporting.

Spending last season with the Atlanta Braves, Sanchez is best known for his years with the Detroit Tigers. In 2013, the 34-year-old on won the AL ERA title.

In 25 appearances, including 24 starts, with Atlanta last season, Sanchez sported a 2.83 ERA with 135 strikeouts to 42 walks in 136.2 innings pitched.
