Nate Pearson has always been an athlete, but baseball is his clear calling.
The Odessa, Fla., native grew up loving the sport and impressing onlookers with his cannon of a right arm.
“Nate Pearson is a physical presence, he’s intimidating,” Gil Kim, Blue Jays director of player development, said on In The System. “… He’s got the chance to be a special pitcher.”
The Toronto Blue Jays prospect, drafted 28th overall last summer, is one of a select few capable of throwing over 100 miles an hour and he spoke of crossing that threshold, along with his journey to professional baseball on the most recent edition of In The System.
