Las Vegas Aces forward Dearica Hamby has been named the 2020 WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year, the WNBA announced Sunday.

This is the second-straight season Hamby has been chosen as the league’s top reserve, and she is now the third player to win the award in back-to-back seasons, joining Allie Quigley (2014, 2015) and DeWanna Bonner (three-straight from 2009-11).

Votes came from a national panel of 47 sportswriters and broadcasters, and Hamby received 44 of them.

Out of the 22 games she played this season, Hamby came off the bench in all of them and averaged 13 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.6 steals (tied for sixth in the WNBA) on 53.9 per cent shooting from the field and 47.4 per cent from three-point range (third-best in the league) in 28.3 minutes.
