The Canadian men's basketball team is perfect no more in FIBA World Cup qualifying.
In a game that mattered little in the big picture, Canada lost 83-72 to host Argentina on Thursday.
Canada, which had won its first 16 games of qualifying and is now 10-1 in the second round, already has qualified for the World Cup this summer in Japan, the Philippines, and Indonesia, having clinched the top spot in Group E.
Thomas Scrubb led Canada with 18 points against Argentina.
The hosts improved to 8-3 in the second round.
Canada wraps up qualifying Sunday in Venezuela. Watch on Sportsnet ONE or SN NOW at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.
