It’s been a long time coming but it’s finally here.
We’ve all had today’s NBA trade deadline circled on the calendar, although the league’s general managers haven’t exactly waited to make their moves.
There have been a flury of deals leading up to the deadline — 12 trades in the span of a few days and eight in the last 24 hours alone.
The Toronto Raptors, who traded guard Malachi Richardson to Philadelphia on Wednesday, appear to be among the teams looking to make a big splash, with all-star Kyle Lowry‘s name emerging in rumours and reports as Masai Ujiri & co. look to shore up the roster ahead of a pivotal playoff run.
And, of course, the clock continues to tick on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in the Anthony Davis sweepstakes.
Needless to say, it should be a can’t-miss day that could shake up the landscape of the NBA even further, and we’ll be here following along until the 3 pm ET deadline passes.
