The Aftershow is your place for bonus coverage as Sportsnet gets up close and personal with a host of Toronto Raptors.

In the third and final installment of Up Close with Raptors, Paul Jones sits down with this year’s crop of rookies, Jonas Valanciunas, Quincy Acy and Terrence Ross.

In Part II, Paul Jones spoke with coach Dwane Casey, star forward Andrea Bargnani and president and general manager Bryan Colangelo.

Wednesday’s edition of The Aftershow featured Kyle Lowry, Jose Calderon, Landry Fields and DeMar DeRozan.

JONAS VALANCIUNAS

The wait is over for Raptors fans as Jonas Valanciunas is finally here. The Lithuanian rookie has been in Toronto for two weeks and says he will leave it all on the floor. Valanciunas thinks he is ready to prove he belongs in the NBA after facing the U.S. Olympic team over the summer.

QUINCY ACY
Quincy Acy is the least-heralded of the three rookies on the Raptors roster this season. A move to the Big Smoke is a big adjustment for Acy, a self-described country boy. He knows he will have to fight to find minutes but says he can still help the team by hustling in practice.

TERRENCE ROSS
The Raptors surprised many when they chose Terrence Ross with the eighth overall pick in June’s NBA Draft. The University of Washington product believes that some fans and media are unaware of his abilities because he attended school on the West Coast and that he will prove his detractors wrong.
