NBA all-star game sets record for attendance

ARLINGTON, Texas — The NBA all-star game at Cowboys Stadium has set a record for the most-attended basketball game ever with a crowd of 108,713 people filling the stadium.

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who spearheaded the construction of the US$1.2 billion stadium that opened last year, announced the record number at the end of the third quarter Sunday night.
