Watch: Canadian Wigginton slams home possible dunk of the year

Khadeem Lattin may never be the same again.

The start of a basketball game is usually fairly nondescript, as teams try to get a feel for their opponent, how the game will be refereed, and where their jumpers are at early.

That’s clearly not how things are done in Nova Scotia, as Canadian Lindell Wigginton posterized Lattin with — and we know it’s early — one of the dunks of the year.

Now playing for Iowa State, the 19-year-old point guard split two defenders at the top of the arc, before seemingly taking off on a trampoline and soaring over the Oklahoma Sooners’ all-time leading shot blocker.

Check out the insanity for yourself:

He landed a bit awkwardly, but boy was it worth it. Oklahoma ended up winning 81-60, but the result hardly seems relevant after the epic slam.
