Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan has been named Eastern Conference player of the week for the week of March 5-11.

DeRozan earns the honour after leading the Raptors to a perfect 4-0 record, including a signature 108-105 win over the Houston Rockets last Friday. The 28-year-old averaged 24.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists on 45.3 per cent shooting last week.

This is the fifth time this season DeRozan has won conference player of the week and the second time in as many weeks.

Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard was named Western Conference player of the week.
