Drake denied access into Heat locker room

Drake wasn't able to get into the Miami Heat locker room Thursday night.

Started from the bottom but wasn’t able to get past security.

Going platinum apparently isn’t worthy of being let in the post-game celebration as local Toronto rap star Drake was denied access into the Miami Heat locker room after their Game 7 victory in the NBA Finals over the San Antonio Spurs Thursday night.

Drake tried to talk his way into the locker room, jokingly claiming himself as part of the media, but still was denied by security

Maybe Drake needs to make friends with Michael Grange or Paul Jones.

He was seen sitting courtside during Game 7 and was shown on the JumboTron during the contest.

There’s yet to be any reports if any Heat fans were too busy trying to beat traffic or texting to actually notice Drake.

It worked out in the end for Drake as the Toronto star was seen celebrating and eating pizza on stage with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in a club in Miami.

The Toronto-born rapper is said to be close with James, who once referred to Drake as a “brother” in an article from Yahoo! Sports.

“What we have is real family,” James said. “It’s not just because we are successful at what we do. We really care about one another on a day-to-day basis. Anytime you get a friend that can come and support you in what you do, I really respect that.”

James won his second consecutive title and was awarded the MVP of the NBA Finals after scoring a game-high 37 points with 12 rebounds.
