The life of Rihanna and Kevin Durant‘s NBA Finals feud has come full circle.
The superstar musician posted a video on Instagram on Tuesday following the Golden State Warriors‘ series-clinching victory one night earlier.

The video depicts Durant as Scar from Disney’s 1994 classic The Lion King, and LeBron James as Mufasa trying to save Simba (Rihanna) from that devastating stampede of wildebeest.
Durant and Rihanna had something of a feud in Game 1 of the Finals, which came as a bit of a surprise given some of Durant’s tweets from years past:
Not having the support of his celebrity crush gave the Golden State superstar no worries, who was dominant in the series en route to earning Finals MVP honours.
While it seems given Rihanna’s good humour that any lingering ill-will towards Durant has been dropped, there’s no telling whether the two will continue trading barbs at one another next season.
Be prepared for either case.
