Grizzlies sign first-round pick Wade Baldwin IV

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Grizzlies have signed first-round draft pick Wade Baldwin IV.

The team announced the signing Saturday. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Baldwin, a 6-foot-4 guard from Vanderbilt, was selected with the 17th overall pick in the draft. The 20-year-old averaged 14.1 points, 5.2 assists, 4 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 33 games as a sophomore for Vanderbilt last season.

He averaged 9.3 points, 4.4 assists and 4.1 rebounds as a freshman.
