Grizzlies sign guard Marquis Teague for remainder of season

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Grizzlies have signed guard Marquis Teague for the remainder of the season.

Teague had signed a 10-day contract with the Grizzlies on March 24 as a promotion from the Memphis Hustle, their NBA G League affiliate.

The 6-foot-2 guard has appeared in two games as a reserve for the Grizzlies. The 25-year-old Teague averaged 4 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steals in 26.5 minutes.

He averaged 17.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 6.1 assists in 47 games for the Hustle.

Teague was the 29th overall pick in the 2012 draft after one spending one year at Kentucky. He has appeared in 90 career NBA regular-season games with the Chicago Bulls, Brooklyn Nets and Grizzlies.
