ORLANDO, Fla. — Reserve guard Daequan Cook missed the Miami Heat’s pre-season game against Orlando on Wednesday night with a right thumb injury.
Cook injured the thumb during the morning shootaround. He was in uniform but was not expected to play.
Cook averaged 9.1 points last season while shooting 38.7 per cent from three-point range. The Heat said he is not expected to miss much time.
