The Toronto Raptors have re-signed restricted free-agent guard Greivis Vasquez, the club announced on Thursday.

“Greivis’ passion for the Raptors and Toronto is wonderful,” said Raptors president and general manager Masai Ujiri in a press release. “He is a versatile player who provides us with energy and depth.”

Vasquez averaged 9.5 points, 3.7 assists and 21.5 minutes in 61 appearances with Toronto during the 2013-14 campaign.

Vasquez was acquired in a seven-player trade with Sacramento on Dec. 9.

He added averages of 10.1 points and a team-best 5.1 assists in the Raptors’ first-round playoff series against Brooklyn. Vasquez scored in double figures in three of seven games, including a high of 18 points in the opening game.
