Michelle Obama will release a hip hop compilation album in September entitled “Songs for a Healthier America” which will feature a track from the pairing or New York Knicks shooting guard Preston Shumpert and Artie Green, according to XXL Magazine.

Judging by the song’s name, “Pass the Rock”, it will contain references to basketball as the album is designed to inspire youths to get active as it is part of the first lady’s campaign to lower childhood obesity.

“We believe that music built on cultural cues can inspire kids and families to make healthy choices,” said Dr. Olajide Williams, founder of Hip Hop Public Health, in a statement. ”Its ability to immerse and transport the mind is a great attribute for any educational tool. Throughout history, music has been a great teacher and motivator, from ABC’s and nursery rhymes to religious hymns and national anthems. It is time to harness this power for health.”

While Obama is not expected to sing or rap on the compilation she has managed to add several notable names from the world of music including Jordin Sparks, Travis Barker, Ashanti, Doug E. Fresh, DMC and Nils Lofgren.
