Not only is Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving the National Basketball Association’s 2012 Rookie of the Year, but he is also the star of a new commercial that has become an internet sensation.
Irving wrote, directed and starred in a new Pepsi ad that already has over 1.2 million views.
The commercial features Irving dressed as an old man that joins a pickup basketball game and surprises some unsuspecting players who believe Irving to be an elderly man going by the name “Uncle Drew.”

In his first NBA season, Irving averaged 18.5 points, 5.4 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game in 51 games played.
