Whether the drama is manufactured or real, it’s been a tense few weeks for LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. First there were cryptic tweets following James’ mini-trip to workout in Miami without his Cavs teammates:

And, later, amid rumours of dissention among the Cleveland ranks, James raised eyebrows when he unfollowed the Cavaliers official twitter account. Scandalous stuff, really.

But whether you feel it’s much ado about nothing, or that there’s substance behind James’ words and “actions”, there’s no question that the controversy sparked numerous questions— ones that James didn’t feel he had to answer (which, technically, he doesn’t). But clearly the media scrutiny is getting to James of late. Case in point: This video, recorded and posted by teammate Richard Jefferson on SnapChat, in which LeBron openly mocks the media’s inane line of questioning.

Say what you will, but this is legitimately funny stuff:

“Why are you eating a banana, LeBron? Does that mean you’re going to slip on a banana peel out of Cleveland?”

Looks like all that time spent with Judd Apatow & Co. last summer paid off.
