Veteran forward Luol Deng signed with the Chicago Bulls Thursday and then made known his intent to retire from the NBA.
Deng, a 15-year veteran and two-time all-star, was originally drafted by the Bulls with the seventh selection of the 2004 draft.
He last played for the Minnesota Timberwolves last season, averaging 7.1 points and 3.3 rebounds in the 22 games played.
