The NBA and NBPA have announced that there have been two positive tests for COVID-19 out of the 322 players tested since arriving in the bubble on July 7.
The players who tested positive never cleared quarantine and have since left the bubble to self-isolate, either at home or in isolation-housing.
Earlier on Monday, Houston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook — who had not joined the Rockets in the bubble — said that he tested positive for COVID-19, but is “feeling well.”
The NBA is set to resume its season on July 30, more than four months after suspending the campaign on March 11 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
