NBA Trade Deadline Tracker: Full breakdown of all the deals

NBA insider Michael Grange outlines the reasons the Sixers have traded Nerlens Noel to the Mavericks, saying it's more so because of signability issues.

The NBA Trade Deadline is at 3 p.m. ET Thursday. Here is a complete run down of all the moves.

3:03 p.m ET

Acquire: P.J. Tucker

Acquire: Jared Sullinger, 2017 and 2018 2nd round picks

Dave Zarum says: Tucker wanted the chance to play for a contender. He got that. The Raptors wanted a forward to replace Terrence Ross and provide a defensive upgrade. They got that.

The best part? The Raptors didn’t have to part with a first-round draft pick, which was reportedly a sticking point in the deal earlier this morning.

2:52 p.m ET

Acquire: Mike Scott

Acquire: cash

Dave Zarum says: …Cool.

The Hawks acquired Ersan Ilyasova on Wednesday, and moving Scott, who plays the same position, to Phoenix opens up some cap space and a potential roster spot.

2:52 p.m ET

Acquire: Tyler Ennis

Acquire: Marceles Huertas

Dave Zarum says: Houston is expected to waive Huertas in another move to create cap space to sign buyout candidates (see below). As for the Lakers, they get a talented point guard who has yet to fully proven himself at the NBA level. Here’s hoping Brampton, ON’s Ennis can get a shot to see the court in Los Angeles.

2:48 p.m ET

Acquire: Roy Hibbert

Acquire: Future 2nd round pick

Dave Zarum says: The Hilbert-In-Milwaukee experiment didn’t yield any results. In acquiring the two-time all-star, the Nuggets get some depth at centre, something they could use after dealing Jusuf Nurkic to Portland earlier this month, and they do it for cheap.

2:46 p.m ET

Acquire: Taj Gibson and Doug McDermott, 2018 2nd round pick

Acquire: Cameron Payne, Anthony Morrow, Joffrey Lauvergne

Dave Zarum says: The Thunder add some much needed perimeter scoring in McDermott, along with a rock solid power forward to fill a tangible need and take some pressure off rookie Domantas Sabonis.

As for the Bulls, they’re going to roll the dice to see if Cameron Payne has what it takes to be a starting point guard. He looked good at times with the Thunder and has the length and athleticism to play the position but for the most part is an unproven, if promising, commodity.

2:34 p.m ET

Acquire: K.J. McDaniels

Acquire: TBD

Dave Zarum says: A move the Rockets made in an effort to clear roughly $3 million in cap space, McDaniels is a talented player noted for his insane hops who hasn’t been able to get off Houston’s bench this season. With the departure of Bojan Bogdanovic (traded to Washington on Wednesday), he should get minutes in Brooklyn and an opportunity to try to prove that he’s an NBA-calibre player with a future in the league, something he was never able to fully do with the Rockets.

With their newfound cap space, expect Houston to try to spend that money on a buyout candidate like Andrew Bogut or Matt Barnes.

11:46 a.m. ET

Acquire: Andrew Bogut, Justin Anderson and a top 18–protected first-round pick

Acquire: Nerlens Noel

Full Trade Details

Craig Battle says: Philadelphia has been dangling Noel for months and it looks like they found a taker in the Mavericks, who have been looking for a long-term solution at centre since getting spurned by DeAndre Jordan in the summer of 2015. Dirk Nowitzki won’t be around forever, but he and Noel’s skillsets complement each other well in a vacuum.

Bogut is on an expiring contract and will likely be waived or flipped to another team before the day is over. The Mavs are almost certain to pick in the top 18, and as per the terms of the deal that means they’ll keep it and sent two second-rounders to the 76ers instead. So that leaves Anderson as the key returning piece for Philly. At 23 and on a cheap deal, he could provide decent value.
