The Brooklyn Nets evened their season series with the New York Knicks at two wins apiece after an 88-85 win at Madison Square Garden Monday.
Following the game Nets forward Kris Humphries said he was the victim of taunts throughout the game from the Gardens faithful.
“They were saying everything,” Humphries told the New York Daily News. “Everything under the sun.”
Humphries said that things were pretty quiet after the game.
“They were harassing me when I was going in and out of the tunnel,” Humphries said. “But after, I asked them, ‘Why’s everyone so quiet?'”
Humphries took to Twitter afterwards to reiterate his point.
Big game tonight! The Garden got really quiet on the way out!#Brooklyn

Knicks guard J.R. Smith quickly fired back with a retort of his own, referencing Kanye West — now the main squeeze of Humphries’ ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
Wasnt quiet when Kanye tore it down last month! RT @krishumphries: Big game tonight! The Garden got really quiet on the way out!#Brooklyn
