Indiana Pacers newcomer Chris Copeland underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee to remove a loose body Friday morning.
The 29-year-old forward is expected to be sidelined for six-to-eight weeks although the Pacers expect Copeland to be fully mobile in time for training camp.
Copeland joined the Pacers in July after having a breakout season with the New York Knicks in which he averaged 8.7 points and 2.1 rebounds over 56 games.
