New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis will be out for 1-2 weeks after spraining his left index finger, the team announced.
Davis sustained the injury during the fourth quarter of the Pelicans 128-112 loss to the Trail Blazers on Friday.
The 25-year-old has been on a tear with New Orleans this season, averaging 29.3 points, 13.3 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.6 blocks per game.
With Davis out, the Pelicans will look to Jrue Holiday, Julius Randle and Nikola Mirotic to try and replace some of the all-NBA forward’s production.
