Kendrick Lamar was featured on a Big Sean track that was released on Monday which has caused a firestorm in the social media world as Lamar calls out several rappers including Drake, Wale and Jermaine Cole as well as legendary Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson.
The lyrics which mentioned the Zenmaster include:
“If Phil Jackson came back, still no coachin’ me.
I’m uncoachable, I’m unsociable.”
Jackson, who has 11 NBA titles on his resume during his time with the Lakers and Chicago Bulls, was asked on Twitter about being referenced in the song entitled, “Control,”.
He responded with some friendly words of wisdom for Lamar:
