Raptors 905 have acquired forward Henry Ellenson from the Long Island Nets in exchange for forward Justin Anderson, the team announced Tuesday.

Ellenson was selected 18th overall by the Detroit Pistons in 2016.

Since then, he’s bounced around the NBA sphere, spending time with three big league teams (Pistons, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets) and two G League teams (Grand Rapids Drive, Nets) over the course of four seasons.

The 23-year-old has spent the majority of 2019–20 with Long Island, averaging 18.3 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists on 48.3 per cent shooting over 11 games.

Anderson was withheld from the 905’s contest Monday against the Greensboro Swarm as the deal was being finalized. He was recently signed to a 10-day contract with Long Island’s parent club in Brooklyn, and performed well enough that the Nets evidently desire a longer look at him.

In 15 games with the 905, he averaged 20.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists on 47.4 per cent shooting.
