Raptors’ Anunoby passes concussion protocol after leaving game vs. Bulls

OG Anunoby would head to the locker room after taking a shot to the head from Brandon Sampson.

Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby left Tuesday evening’s game against the Chicago Bulls and didn’t return.

After the game, the Raptors said that Anunoby had passed the concussion protocol and would be monitored and re-evaluated on Wednesday.

With just a little over four minutes left in the fourth quarter he attempted to take a charge from Chicago’s Brandon Sampson and as both men came crashing to the floor Anunoby appeared to take an errant elbow to the head from the Bulls guard.

Anunoby was seen clutching his forehead in pain in the immediate aftermath while writhing on the floor. He managed to walk off the court relatively fine, but had Raptors trainers with him the entire time.
