Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby will see a specialist Tuesday after getting poked in his right eye during the team’s 98-88 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday.

Raptors coach Nick Nurse told reporters after the game that Anunoby will have the appointment before the team leaves Los Angeles for Portland. Toronto plays the Trail Blazers on Wednesday.

Former Raptors star Kawhi Leonard appeared to swipe Anunoby in the face early in the first quarter of Monday’s game.

The 22-year-old went to the locker room and did not return.

Nurse said the blow knocked out both of Anunoby’s contacts and left him bleeding.

Anunoby is averaging 13.0 points, 1.4 blocks, 1.3 steals and 6.2 rebounds across nine games this season, his third in the NBA.
