Toronto Raptors forward Oshae Brissett has left the NBA bubble in Orlando to undergo a minor knee procedure, the team announced Tuesday.
The procedure to clean out loose bodies (small fragments of cartilage or bone) from his right knee will take place in Toronto. The Raptors are not able to replace Brissett in the bubble, meaning that the roster will remain at 15 players.
Brissett has been dealing with right knee soreness throughout his time in Orlando and has yet to make his debut in the bubble.
In 19 games with the Raptors this season, the 22-year-old averaged 1.9 points and 1.4 rebounds. The Mississauga, Ont., native also appeared in 28 games with Raptors 905, where he averaged 15.8 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists in just under 30 minutes.
