Toronto Raptors forward DeMarre Carroll returned to Atlanta for the first time since leaving the Hawks in free agency on Wednesday and was greeted with a nice little video tribute thanking him for his time with the team.

Carroll spent the last two seasons with the Hawks where he emerged as one of the NBA’s premiere defensive wing players.

In the summer of 2015 he signed a four-year, $60-million contract with the Raptors, the biggest in franchise history.

Coming into Wednesday’s contest, the 29-year-old has averaged 13.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game on 40 per cent shooting in 15 games played.
