Toronto Raptors coach Nick Nurse says he expects Norman Powell to be out for “weeks,” at least, and that the swingman’s left shoulder injury is “not good.”

The Raptors announced on Tuesday Powell “is out indefinitely with a subluxation of the left shoulder” and there is no timetable for his return.

Powell left Monday’s game against the Utah Jazz in the second quarter with an injury the team revealed to be a partial dislocation of his left shoulder.

The 25-year-old is averaging five points per game on 47.6 per cent shooting in 11 games played this season.

In other Raptors news, star forward Kawhi Leonard was officially listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Sacramento Kings.

Tuesday night on Prime Time Sports, Nurse said he believes Leonard would play in Sacramento.

Leonard has missed the Raptors’ last two contests with an ankle injury.
