The Toronto Raptors cancelled practice Tuesday because of the snowstorm and ice pellets that bombarded Toronto and much of the Greater Toronto Area.

That wasn’t going to stop Danny Green from getting shots up, though.

In a video posted to his Inside the Green Room podcast Twitter account, it was revealed that Green, along with some kind members of the Raptors’ coaching staff, still made it into the team’s practice facility Tuesday to prepare for this Saturday’s three-point contest.

Given the competition Green is facing, it’s a small wonder he’s training for the event as he’ll have to outshoot Devin Booker, Steph and Seth Curry, Joe Harris, Buddy Hield, Damian Lillard, Khris Middleton, Dirk Nowitzki and Kemba Walker to win.

As a 42 per cent shooter from distance on the season, Green certainly has the accuracy to win the event, but a little extra practice won’t hurt.

Green is part of a contingent of Raptors who will be participating in this weekend’s all-star festivities. On Friday night, OG Anunoby will play for Team World in the Rising Stars game. On Sunday, Kawhi Leonard (Team LeBron) and Kyle Lowry (Team Giannis) will play against each other in the all-star game itself.
