Raptors’ Delon Wright out vs. Mavericks with groin strain

NBA insider Michael Grange joins Nikki Reyes to give props to Nick Nurse for his deployment of Serge Ibaka and Jonas Valanciunas so far this season, and to rate the Raptors defence with Kawhi leading the charge.

Toronto Raptors guard Delon Wright will miss Friday night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks due to a groin strain.

Fred VanVleet, meanwhile, is probable for the Mavs game. He sat out Wednesday’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves with turf toe.

Wright missed the Raptors’ first four games of the season because of the same injury, but made his season debut on Wednesday. He played just five minutes against Minnesota, registering one block.
