Two of the Toronto Raptors‘ most important young pieces are staying put.
The Raptors exercised the third-year team option on OG Anunoby‘s contract and the fourth-year option on Pascal Siakam‘s deal Wednesday. The contracts are now guaranteed through the 2019-20 season.
Anunoby was selected by the Raptors with the 23rd overall pick in the 2017 draft. He has averaged 7.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 24.2 minutes in five games so far this season.
Siakam has started seven of Toronto’s first eight games in 2018-19, averaging 10.9 points and 7.0 rebounds in 26 minutes per game.
